Murre

In 2019, Trade got its first mascot, Cornelius Corgi. Cornelius has toured with Trade at events, cruises, stands, and in the office and has sometimes even ventured on his own. Despite his big heart, the short corgi legs haven't carried him very far as a mascot.

In 2022, Tradenologia was held in Turku with the theme "Turku vs. Finland." Unlike Cornelius, where the name was the final part of acquiring the mascot, Turun Murre's name was the first step in Murre's creation.

Excited by the brilliant name, the Tradenologia working group decided to see the idea through to the end, and thus Trade got a second friend, Turun Murre. Originally, Murre was only supposed to entertain students during Tradenologia, but Murre charmed all of Turku and on October 9th 2023, the then Trade board unanimously voted to make Murre Trade's second mascot alongside the retiring Cornelius.

Murre delights people wherever he goes. Murre has become a recognizable part of student events in Turku and accompanies Trade whenever possible.
